This project concerns experimental legislation; temporary regulations to determine whether new rules are as effective as previously expected. Attention is mainly focused on the legal design of experimental regulations. When is experimental regulation useful or necessary, how do the experimental regulations work in practice and what can be learned from this for new legislation?
